What would you do if you were given 3 days in Greece with your best friend?
California season
My boyfriend and I took 2 weeks of vacation and we decided to do a road trip in California, beggining in San Franscisco and ending in Los Angeles. We had amazing times that really deserve a fixed session in this blog. So here we go:
Our first 3 days were in San Francisco

A very charming and slope city.
We watched a theater presentation (that we barely understood what the actors were saying)
Part of the city has this cute architecture
And of course we went to the Golden Gate (for me the best place there I've been in SF)
We saw sea lions in the famous 39 pier
FROM THERE, STARTED FOR ME THE BEST PART OF THE TRIP: THE HIGHWAY 1
We rent a car and we took the Highway 1 in direction to Los Angeles. It was 680km, 3 days of beatutiful views and breathtaking landscapes.
AND for the last part, the real california summer came
New York:
my home for 1 year
I have to confess...
I took a while to understand New York.. In the first weeks I was struggling with the city, being resistant and not open for all the things that NY has to offer me. In my mind it was "Ok, this is the place that I will spend a year" and not "This will be my home for one year!". And I swear, it makes the whole difference and day by day, I take one more step foward towards my real life here.

I always hated Sundays...
I always thought they were idle and boring days. The fact that I never had any programming to do added to the fact that I already had to program myself to start all over again on Monday always made me hate Sundays. Thank you NY for re-signifying my Sundays, now it's one of my favorite days.
Eu sempre odiei domingos...
Sempre achei que eram dias sem graças e tediosos. O fato de nunca ter nenhuma programação para fazer somado ao fato de já ter que se programar pra começar tudo de novo na segunda feira sempre me fizeram detestar domingos. Obrigada NY pro ressignificar meus domingos, agora é um dos meus dias preferidos.
Amazing times in NY with my Brazilian friend!
We'd graduated in high school together and after that we've never seen each other again. 10 years have passed and we realize that nothing has changed. Wonderful times in NY together.
